North Hill Courtyard Homes offer two experiences at once: a gracious Southern streetscape in front and a private outdoor room within. Many courtyards were designed with space for pools, covered gathering areas, fireplaces, gardens and water features, making everyday moments feel a little more like vacation. At the center of the neighborhood, Bessbrook Square Park brings shaded paths, lawn, picnic tables, a pavilion and fire pit into daily life. Sarah’s husband, Rob, designed and built the original homes after the couple studied courtyard living on Florida’s west coast, then reinterpreted it with distinctly Southern porches, columns and architectural detail.
