More Than a Golf Course: Life at The Georgia Club

When people hear “The Georgia Club,” their first thought is often golf. And while the course is beautiful and certainly a centerpiece of the community, it’s only one small part of what life here is actually like.

The Georgia Club is, at its heart, a place built around connection. It’s social, family-oriented, active, and welcoming in a way that surprises many people the first time they truly experience it. What often starts as curiosity quickly turns into a deeper appreciation for the lifestyle that unfolds here every day.

What many don’t realize is that within the larger community, there are smaller neighborhoods that each have their own personality, amenities, and regular get-togethers. These pockets of community create a close-knit, neighborhood feel - while still offering all the benefits of living within a private country club. It’s a rare balance, and one that residents value deeply.

A Lifestyle That’s Easy - and Enjoyable

One of the things residents love most about life at The Georgia Club is how effortless it feels. The restaurant, for example, is right on site and open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner six days a week (closed on Mondays). Members regularly walk, bike, or hop in a golf cart to meet friends for a casual meal or a night out. Having that option just steps away becomes part of everyday life - and it’s hard to overstate how convenient and enjoyable that is.

Beyond the restaurant, the amenities naturally weave into daily routines. Golf is a major draw, but it’s complemented by tennis and pickleball courts, a fitness center, and a pool that becomes a summer hub for families and friends. Throughout the neighborhood, you’ll also find parks and playgrounds, a community garden, and a dog park - spaces that encourage people to slow down, connect, and enjoy being outside.

It’s the kind of place where you can be as involved or as low-key as you want to be. Some days are active and social; others are quiet and relaxed. The lifestyle here flexes with you.

Social, Without Feeling Forced

The Georgia Club has a way of bringing people together naturally. There’s a rhythm to life here that develops over time - seeing familiar faces on walks, chatting poolside, or running into friends at the restaurant. Neighbors quickly become friends, and kids grow up together.

Throughout the year, the club offers opportunities that strengthen that sense of community. Trivia nights, wine club gatherings, kids’ golf and tennis clinics during the summer and holidays, and a swim team that becomes a summer tradition for many families are just a few examples. These are the kinds of experiences that aren’t always highlighted in marketing materials, but they’re often what residents talk about most.

As part of our Georgia Club Insider Series, we’ll be diving deeper into many of these moments in future posts.

A Private Club Feel - With Access to Membership

The Georgia Club is a private country club, and membership is an important part of the overall lifestyle. The club is actively accepting new members, which allows homeowners and residents to fully enjoy all of the amenities, programming, and social opportunities that make this community so special.

For many buyers, the ability to live within the community and become a member of the club is a meaningful long-term benefit and a key part of what makes The Georgia Club such an appealing place to call home.

A Personal Perspective

For our family, The Georgia Club has been home for a long time. My husband, Rob, and I were among the original builders in the community, and our family has been familiar with The Georgia Club since its creation. We’ve been members from the beginning and have lived here since 2008, watching the neighborhood grow into the vibrant, welcoming community it is today.

That long-term perspective shapes the way I talk about life here. I’ve seen firsthand how the community functions day to day - how it supports families, fosters friendships, and offers a lifestyle that’s both active and deeply rooted.

More to Come

This post is just the beginning. Over the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing more insider looks at the things that make The Georgia Club so special - from its neighborhoods and amenities to the small moments that residents truly cherish.

Because life here really is more than a golf course. It’s a community - and one that many people are excited to call home.

Until next time,
xoxo, Sarah
